Samsung I8000 Omnia2 Makes First Appearance, Offers Style and Functionality
Samsung Omnia will soon have its successor in the market, as
I8000 Omnia2 made its first appearance online, and now we are aware of some of the most significant specifications of the device. It can be assumed here that Samsung Omnia2 is one of the three devices of the Samsung Cubic project, the other two being Samsung S8000 Jet and M8000.
To begin with the features,
Omnia2 will accommodate a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution. Another highlight of the cell phone will be an 8.1MP camera with features like LED flash and VGA video recording. Other rich features of the device include support for 3G and Bluetooth, along with provision for mini-USB port. GPS and Wi-Fi are other worthy features offered by the device.
The
cell phone is expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. Also, Samsung TouchWiz Interface will be included in the design. One can also expect the support of DivX/XViD for this device. However, nothing can be confirmed, until and unless the official announcement is made by the manufacturer. The expectations are high for the official specification list for this and other Samsung devices to be released in the event called Samsung Unpacked, approaching on June 15.
Talking about the
Samsung Cubic project, the three devices in the list will have a cubical button in the centre that will offer some type of interface for the user. Though, LG has already worked on the similar concept of cubic interface, a lot of space can Aeva Debug: 0.0003 seconds.
