Pt.Raghunath Ji Kikloo (The greatest saint of this century)
Brief Biography
Sh.Raghunath Ji Kikloo, the greatest Grehasta saint of this century was born in 1917 at Bhanmohalla Srinagr Kashmir.He Comes from the family of saints. The name of his father & Guru was Pt. Ram Ji Kikloo the greatest saint himself.
Kikloo's are known for their holyness and the only home in whole of kashmir were the shivratri puja was performed day & night continously for four days. From the very begining of his childhood he was very religious minded due to the impact of his family background. He was avery hard working student and was always a topper throughout his accademic carrer.
I recall he told me that he used to learn through the whole night & in order to prevent sleep he used to tie rope to his bodhi (choag).
He got married at very young age to Smt. Shubhawati a great pious lady & a noble soul herself. She became his good good companion throughout his life. It was due to her that he could devote most of his time to Sadhna (Meditation). I recall baigash always used to say that it is the wife who is pindeed a Grehlaxmi under whose guidance the home inherits goos saskaras.
Baigash gave all the credit to his wife for helping him to achieve his goal. He was a great follower of lord shiva & in particular of Shakti. He spended 8 to 9 hours in puja(meditation).
He would had his lunch at 3 Pm. He would not take rest and always meet all the visitors and listen to their problems and offer solutions. He did not make any body unhappy.
People from all parts of the country & world used to come at his thee's feet for seeking the blessings of such an grat saint & Philospher
He took Maha Samadhi in December 1997. He always used to say that death is destined but Aatma is immortal. It's all excerpts of his sayings that i am able to tranform his wisdom for all.
